Welcome to the application for the Undergraduate Leadership Scholars Capstone!
LAUNCH has partnered with the Maroon & White Leadership Program to provide students with opportunities to integrate their coursework with career goals and interests in ways that will promote a better understanding of the nature of leadership. LAUNCH and the Maroon & White Leadership Program are looking for students who demonstrate an eagerness to learn and grow in their approach to leadership and have the potential to positively contribute to their organization.
To be eligible for this program, you should have earned a cumulative GPR of 3.0 or better at Texas A&M University, hold a leadership position within a student organization or other group, and have approval from the organization’s advisor.
To become an Undergraduate Leadership Scholar, you must submit a proposal detailing the project to be carried out through your organization over the course of the year and a timeline for the planning and implementation of your project. LAUNCH will notify successful candidates of their acceptance into the program.
If you are accepted for the ULS Capstone, you will be provisionally accepted as an M&W Leadership Fellow, given that you have successfully submitted your intent to participate.
Step 1: Get approval from your organization’s advisor
Step 2: Submit a proposal and a timeline
Step 3: Submit an “Intent to Participate” form for the M&W Leadership Fellows
Once you have submitted the proposal and timeline to LAUNCH, the remainder of your work will be completed through the Maroon & White Leadership Program. Leadership coaches will oversee the planning and implementation of your project through monthly meetings, in addition to mentoring you through leadership experiences, reflections, and a final synthesis paper and presentation of your project.
