GTF Scholars

The Greater Texas Foundation Scholars (GTF Scholars) provides students from early college high schools with support as they earn their degree. 

GTF Scholars are identified by award of a scholarship from the Greater Texas Foundation, a statewide education grant maker based in Bryan, Texas.  GTF Scholars are chosen based on holistic review of the student's ApplyTexas Admissions and Scholarship application by the Scholarships & FInancial Aid office of Texas A&M.

Program Requirements:  To maintain eligibility, you must meet the following requirements:
  • Participate in the GTF Aggie Scholars Learning Community;
  • Attend orientation prior to the start of classes;
  • Maintain a cumulative 2.50 or higher GPR each semester;
  • Complete a minimum of 30 hours each Academic Year;
  • Serve as a volunteer recruiter and university ambassador;
  • Continue to possess financial need as defined by the Department of Education.
