Peer Mentors

Peer Mentors in Ignite will play a crucial role in the Ignite programming for the year. Peer Mentors will provide academic and social support to their Spark Groups (smaller groups of students in the same UGST class, led by a Peer Mentor). Peer Mentors will assist with Ignite activities inside and outside the classroom, maintain a positive representation of the program, serve as a positive role- model for their mentees, and attend assigned social and academic events.

As a result of their efforts in Ignite, Peer Mentors will gain on-campus leadership experience, serve their community, continue their own growth in the areas represented in the learning outcomes of Ignite, and obtain access to all resources and events available to their mentees.
