Capstones FAQs


Students generally apply for a Capstone Program in the first semester of their Junior or Senior year. Some of the program requirements are different for each capstone. Consult with your capstone advisor for information on the different timelines and restrictions for the particular capstone that you're interested in.
Each capstones offers a student an opportunity to use their abilities and interests in different ways. Your Capstone Program Assistant will be able to assist you in determining which capstone may be the right choice, keeping your career path, interests, and future goals in mind.
Completing a capstone is not easy, but much like cake, they require several different elements. Cakes generally signify some sort of celebration. Completing your capstone should mark the nearing end of your undergraduate career at Texas A&M; a time of reflection and celebration.
