LAUNCH has partnered with two Texas businesses--H-E-B and Integ—to bring unique programming to Texas A&M students that encourages smart budgeting and community-centered food preparation.

Collaborating Across Campus

As part of First Year Eats programming, LAUNCH invited the Texas A&M Money Education Center to host their Eating on a Budget workshop for students in LAUNCH: Learning Communities. The Eating on a Budget workshop covers:

  • Eating healthy on a budget
  • Budgeting tips when grocery shopping
  • Preparing healthy meals

Mug Meals Mondays

LAUNCH staff will offer several workshops on cooking microwavable “Mug Meals” and other simple fare to teach students how to prepare their own food.

Custom-made Online Resources

  • Pinterest Board with “Mug Meal”, ramen-based, and other simple recipes that students can use to eat easily and cheaply.
