
As a Senior Vice President in AECOM’s Buildings + Places practice, Sandra leads the America’s Corporate Market Sector which provides solutions for Corporate Real Estate Organizations whose operations span multiple disciplines, geographies and projects. She is an architect and interior designer with 38 years’ experience in corporate design. Her primary responsibility is market leading representation of the practice in collaboration with AECOM’s offices and integrated practice around the world.
Sandra’s expertise relies on understanding clients’ business challenges, along with their real estate portfolios and then focusing on consistent design and delivery across geographies and internal business structures. She fosters seamless collaboration in architecture, interiors, engineering and consulting disciplines on every engagement. An innovator in the area of effective project delivery, Sandra works to redefine the way companies work with design firms by establishing efficiencies and consistencies through team composition and ideal delivery approaches and methodologies, customized and scalable to achieve each client’s real estate objectives. Her most recent contribution in this area of expertise is to the recently RIBA published book, Future Office: Next Generation Workplace Design.
Sandra graduated from Texas A&M in 1980 with a Bachelor of Environmental Design and a Master of Architecture in 1982. She received the College of Architecture Outstanding Alumni Award in 2004 and the Women’s Former Student Network Legacy Award in 2013. She also services as Chair of the Real Property Committee for the Texas Military Department, appointed by the Texas Adjutant General.
