Shelia Amos is the Administrative Coordinator for the LAUNCH office, where she handles all administrative level duties. Her undergraduate degree is in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, where she drove from College Station to Houston every week, never missing a class. She received her Master's degree in Business Management, from Texas A&M Commerce in 2016. Her most proudest moment was walking across that stage, thanking God that she finally did it!

Shelia was raised in Hugo, a small country town in Oklahoma. She started working for Texas A&M in 1992. While employed at Texas A&M University, she has received the Presidential Meritorious Service Award (Team Award) in 1997, member of the IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals since 2004, Vice President of TAPSS (Texas A&M University Association of Professional Support Staff) in 2007 and was a member from 2005 through 2008. Serves currently on the University Staff Council, representing staff of Academic Affairs, where term ends in Fall of 2017. She is also serves as an ambassador of the WELLNESS WORKS as an WELL Leader here at Texas A&M.

In Shelia's spare time she likes traveling, working out, reading novels and spending time with family, especially grandchildren.
