The Explorations journal showcases the most cutting-edge, original, and student-driven scholarship by undergraduates pursuing intellectual and aesthetic experiences outside of the classroom. The undergraduate work chosen for publication will highlight curiosity, innovation, and independence, all core values of the university’s current Quality Enhancement Plan, Aggies Commit to Life-long Learning. Recently published articles have been from a wide range of academic fields and disciplines in the humanities, the STEM fields, and creative works.
Submissions are open to all undergraduate students from all disciplines who have conducted research or creative scholarship under faculty mentorship at Texas A&M University. Explorations uses a double blind referee process. Approximately 15-20% of submissions are accepted for publication each year.
